Built specifically for film and video use, the focus and aperture rings feature industry-standard gearing for compatibility with follow focus systems. The de-clicked aperture ring allows for fluid iris adjustments during recording, while the engraved aperture and distance markings are positioned on the side for easier operation by a focus puller.

Internal focusing helps reduce focus breathing, keeping the framing more consistent as you adjust focus. Optical construction includes 9 elements in 6 groups, with both an aspherical and a hybrid aspherical element to minimize aberrations. Multi-coating on the lens elements improves light transmission and helps reduce flare and ghosting.
