Tilta Ta-Ucc-P-B Universal Cable Clamp Pair - Black
Tilta Ta-Ucc-P-B Universal Cable Clamp Pair - Black | Keep rig cables under control
For handheld video work, a shoulder rig gives the camera extra support and helps you keep a shot steadier as you move. The Tilta Ta-Ucc-P-B Universal Cable Clamp Pair - Black is a pair of cable clamps for a rig setup, suited to shooters who want to keep cables managed while working with the camera supported at the shoulder. It’s most useful when a cable run could otherwise hang loose around your handheld setup. The black finish keeps the clamps visually discreet on a dark rig, while the pair gives you two points to work with along a cable run. This is a practical rig accessory rather than a camera support system on its own: its role is cable management within a handheld video setup. If you’re building a shoulder rig for video, it can help keep the working area tidier while you concentrate on the shot.
Keeping the rig manageable
Plan where a cable needs to travel before placing the clamps. With two points available, you can guide a run along the rig instead of leaving it to hang across your working area. Keep the cable route clear of the controls you need to reach, and leave enough slack for normal camera movement. That gives the setup a neater layout without asking the clamps to do the job of supporting the camera.
Specialist Note
A loose cable can get in the way just when you need to move smoothly with a shoulder rig. This pair gives you two clamps, so you can manage a cable at two points rather than leaving the whole run hanging free. I’d place them along the route the cable already needs to take, keeping the controls you use within easy reach. The black finish is a sensible match for a dark rig if you’d rather keep the setup visually low-key. It suits handheld video shooters who want a tidier rig; just remember that cable management is its job, not extra camera support.
