Radius Windcover For Rycote WS4 Windshield
Radius Windcover For Rycote WS4 Windshield | Protects It In Your Bag
If your Rycote WS4 windshield shares a larger equipment bag with other kit, the Radius Windcover gives it a dedicated protective pouch to travel in. It suits anyone who wants to keep the windshield from rubbing against the items packed around it. Its job is practical: protect the WS4 against scratches and bumps while it’s inside a larger bag. Use it when packing the windshield between jobs or storing it alongside other equipment, so the pouch stays with the item it’s meant to protect. For Rycote WS4 owners, it’s a straightforward way to make care of the windshield part of the packing routine. It’s intended for protection during bag storage, rather than changing how the windshield is used.
Specialist Note
The pouch form gives the WS4 a defined place in your bag, rather than leaving it loose among the rest of your kit. Since this is a protective case, I’d use it when storing the windshield in a larger bag: put the WS4 in the pouch before packing your other gear around it, and you’ll help guard against scratches and bumps. It suits anyone carrying a Rycote WS4 between work locations or keeping it packed between recording sessions. The protection is focused on bag storage, so I’d still pack thoughtfully rather than treat the pouch as a reason to handle the windshield carelessly. For that specific job, it’s a sensible companion to the WS4.
