Ilford Galerie Smooth Cotton Sprite 280gsm 5"x7" 127x178mm

Ilford Galerie Smooth Cotton Sprite 280gsm 5"x7" 127x178mm | A defined format for considered prints

It can be frustrating to find a paper by its full name, only to discover the size or weight isn’t the one you wanted. Ilford Galerie Smooth Cotton Sprite is identified here as a smooth cotton paper, with a weight of 280gsm and a 5 × 7 inch format, also given as 127 × 178mm. That makes the key details easy to compare before you choose it. It suits anyone looking for this particular Ilford paper in a compact format, rather than a larger sheet or a different named surface. The honest point is that the product name gives you a clear description, but no further performance claims to weigh up. If those exact details match what you’re after, you can make your choice without having to interpret vague size or surface wording.

The two size measurements are handy when you’re comparing product listings that use different units. The inch measurement is 5 × 7; the metric measurement is 127 × 178mm. Its stated weight is 280gsm, and the name identifies the surface as Smooth Cotton Sprite. Those details give you a straightforward way to distinguish this paper from another Galerie option or another size of the same product. They’re also useful to keep in mind if you’re choosing paper around a particular finished format: the listed dimensions are the paper size, so they give you a concrete starting point for that decision. There’s no need to infer a broader use from the title alone. If the name, smooth cotton description, weight and dimensions are what you need, this listing makes those specifics plain.
