Paterson PAT114 35mm Tank w/ 1 Spiral

Paterson PAT114 35mm Tank w/ 1 Spiral | A clear starting point for 35mm film processing

Getting a 35mm film setup together can be frustrating when you need a tank but want to know exactly what format it’s for. Paterson’s PAT114 is a darkroom tank for 35mm film, with one spiral. It suits photographers who develop their own 35mm film and need a straightforward tank-and-spiral setup for that work. The useful thing about this model is how clearly its intended format and spiral count are identified: you can match those details to your own darkroom needs before choosing it. There’s no need to read more into the name than that. If you’re looking for a tank for 35mm film with one spiral, the PAT114 is a direct, easy-to-understand option.

When choosing darkroom equipment, it helps to begin with the film you plan to process and the specific item you need. This Paterson model has a defined role in that setup: it’s the tank, paired with a single spiral, for 35mm work. That makes it a sensible one to consider if your requirement is specific rather than broad. An honest note: the product name tells you the format and spiral count, so those are the details to focus on when deciding if it matches your plans. It’s a focused piece of darkroom equipment, not a reason to buy extras you may not need. For photographers who already know they’re working with 35mm film, the naming keeps the choice simple.
