Hohem Magnetic Fill Light For iSteady Xe Black

Hohem Magnetic Fill Light For iSteady Xe Black | Adds fill light to an iSteady Xe setup

A face can look dull on camera when the available light is uneven. The Hohem Magnetic Fill Light For iSteady Xe Black is named as a magnetic fill light for the iSteady Xe, giving you a way to add fill light to that setup. It’s aimed at people making video who want a more balanced-looking subject, rather than a camera movement accessory. There is an important detail to be aware of: the supplier classifies this product as a camera crane or dolly, typically used for smooth camera moves. That doesn’t match the product name, which identifies a fill light. I’ve kept both descriptions clear below rather than guessing at features or treating the two jobs as interchangeable. If you’re shopping for the named fill light, the title is the relevant description; the supplier’s category information needs clarification.

What the listing tells you

The product name points to a magnetic fill light associated with the Hohem iSteady Xe. In practical terms, that makes its stated purpose adding fill illumination to a video setup. The supplier information, meanwhile, describes a camera crane or dolly and links that type of product with smooth camera moves. Those are different roles: added light affects how a subject is lit, while a crane or dolly is for moving the camera. I wouldn’t rely on the category label alone to decide what this item does; the name and supplier classification don’t agree.
