Kingston 1TB MicroSDXC Canvas Select Plus

Kingston 1TB MicroSDXC Canvas Select Plus | More room for your files

Running short on storage can interrupt a shoot just when you want to keep going. The Kingston 1TB MicroSDXC Canvas Select Plus gives you a microSD card with 1TB of capacity, so you can keep a larger collection of files together on one card. It’s a straightforward option for someone who needs substantial storage in the MicroSDXC format and wants the product name and capacity to be clear when choosing a card. The honest point: capacity alone doesn’t tell you how many photos or video clips will fit. File sizes vary, so the space you’ll use depends on what you record and how large those files are. If you already know that MicroSDXC is the format you need, this Kingston card makes the capacity easy to identify. There’s no speed rating in the product information here, so I wouldn’t choose it on the basis of transfer or recording speed.

Choosing a capacity that suits your files

A 1TB card gives you a generous amount of storage to work with. That can be handy when you’d rather keep a bigger set of files together instead of frequently swapping cards. It’s also a clear starting point when planning storage: think about the kind of files you make and how much space they tend to take, then decide whether this capacity fits the way you work. Photos and video can vary greatly in size, so there isn’t a reliable file count to attach to the number on the label.

Canvas Select Plus is the product line named here; the title also identifies Kingston as the brand and MicroSDXC as the card format. Those details make it easier to distinguish this card from other capacities and formats while comparing storage options. The best reason to consider it is simple: you need a MicroSDXC card with 1TB of capacity. Keep the choice grounded in those details, rather than assuming a particular speed or device fit from the name alone.
