Candido 200 Colour Film 135-36

Candido 200 Colour Film 135-36 | Colour film for a considered 36-frame outing

Digital shooting lets you review a frame straight away; with film, you make the exposure and move on. Candido 200 Colour Film 135-36 is a roll of colour film for photographers who want to shoot on film in the 135-36 format. It suits a planned outing where 36 frames feel like the right amount, rather than an open-ended run of shots. The honest trade-off is that each frame asks for a little more thought: you can’t simply check it on the back of the camera and retake it at once. That slower pace can be part of the appeal. The product name identifies it as colour film, but doesn’t promise a particular colour look, so I’d choose it for the format and the kind of shooting you want to do—not for a specific rendering.

Choosing a 36-frame roll

The 135-36 designation is the useful detail to keep in mind when planning. It gives you a defined run of 36 frames, which can suit a short trip, a day out, or a project with a clear end point. You might take a moment before each shot, or simply enjoy having a set number of frames to work through. Either way, it’s easier to plan when the count is right there in the product name.

This is a straightforward pick if colour film and the 135-36 format are what you’re looking for. There’s no need to read a character profile into the name: it tells you the film type and format, while your own subject, light and choices shape the photographs. If you prefer making a roll last across several outings, keep the 36-frame count in mind as you shoot. If you have a particular scene in mind, you can leave room for it rather than using every frame on the way there. Simple, and refreshingly tangible.
