Caruba 5 In 1 GLD/Sil Sunyellow WH Translucent 150x200cm

Caruba 5 In 1 GLD/Sil Sunyellow WH Translucent 150x200cm | Five light-shaping options in one screen

Without a reflector screen, you’re often left moving the subject or changing the light source to get a different look. This Caruba 5-in-1 screen gives you another option: work with a large reflector surface and choose between the gold, silver, sunyellow, white and translucent finishes named in the product. At 150 x 200 cm, it gives you a broad area to work with, which can be handy for portraits and other setups where a small bounce card won’t cover enough. It suits photographers who want to adjust light on location or in a studio without changing their main light. The honest trade-off is its size: you’ll need room to position it, and a second pair of hands can make placement easier. If you want several looks from one reflector screen, this gives you a practical starting point.

Choosing a surface

The different surface names are the reason to consider this screen rather than a single-finish reflector. Gold and sunyellow suggest warmer reflected light, while silver and white give you other ways to return light towards your subject. The translucent option can be placed between the light and the subject to soften the light falling through it. Those choices let you respond to the light you have instead of relying on one fixed look. Try one surface at a time and watch how it changes the scene; small changes in position can matter as much as the surface you choose. The screen’s 150 x 200 cm format is also worth factoring into your setup: plan where you’ll position it before bringing it into a tight space.
