Lastolite SkyRapid Frame Large 2x2m

Lastolite SkyRapid Frame Large 2x2m | A large square frame for reflector screens

The 2 × 2 m format is the defining choice: it gives you a large, square frame for working with a reflector screen. The Lastolite SkyRapid Frame Large is for photographers who need that generous format in their lighting setup, rather than a smaller frame. Its scale makes sense when you want a reflector screen to cover a broad area beside or around a subject. The listed colour is black, a restrained look that sits quietly in a studio or on location. This is a practical piece of equipment to choose by the size you need; the key question is simply whether a two-metre square frame suits the space and subjects you work with. If that’s the format your setup calls for, the name tells you what you’re getting: a large frame for reflector-screen work.

Choosing the right format

A reflector screen can help shape the light reaching a subject, and the frame gives that screen a defined working area. At 2 × 2 m, this is a substantial square format, so it’s worth thinking about where you’ll position it and how much room your lighting setup allows. The size may suit portraits or other work where you want to influence light across a broad part of the scene; the useful point is the available frame area, not a promise of a particular lighting result. Black is the stated colour, so the frame has a dark appearance rather than a bright one. For a specialist shop, the honest advice is simple: choose this model when the large square format fits your working space and the reflector-screen setup you have in mind.
