SmallRig 5266 L-Shape Mount Plate w/ Wooden Handle For Fujifilm GFX100RF (Black)
SmallRig 5266 L-Shape Mount Plate w/ Wooden Handle For Fujifilm GFX100RF (Black) | More support for handheld video
Without a shoulder rig, handheld video work depends on holding the camera on its own. The SmallRig 5266 adds a dedicated support rig for the Fujifilm GFX100RF, making it a useful option for people who want a more supported way to work while filming handheld. Its L-shaped mount plate and wooden handle make up a straightforward combination: a shaped plate for the camera setup, with a handle to hold as you work. It’s intended for video rather than changing how the camera takes photographs, so the value is in having a more considered physical setup for handheld recording. If you film scenes that call for moving with the camera or holding a shot by hand, this rig is aimed at that kind of work. It keeps its purpose focused: extra support for handheld video with the GFX100RF.
Specialist Note
For a handheld video setup with the GFX100RF, I’d start by fitting the 5266 as the camera’s support rig, then grip the wooden handle for the take. That handle gives you a specific place to hold rather than relying on the camera body alone, which can make a supported handheld routine feel more deliberate. The L-shaped plate is the other part to consider: it forms the mounting base for this arrangement, so the handle and camera are brought together as one rig. I’d recommend it to GFX100RF owners who regularly film handheld and want added physical support. Its role is focused on that job, not on adding camera controls.
