Sachtler SAC-S2056-0001 Mid-Level Spreader FLOWTECH100
Sachtler SAC-S2056-0001 Mid-Level Spreader FLOWTECH100 | Support for a FLOWTECH100 tripod setup
Its defining detail is right in the name: this is a mid-level spreader for the Sachtler FLOWTECH100 tripod system, rather than a tripod in its own right. It suits camera operators who use a FLOWTECH100 and want a spreader positioned between the tripod legs as part of their setup. That makes it relevant for planned, repeatable camera positions, such as a locked-off interview or a static product shot, where you want to establish the tripod arrangement before framing. The SAC-S2056-0001 is a focused accessory, so its value depends on working within that FLOWTECH100 setup; it isn’t a general-purpose support for unrelated tripods. If you already use the named system, this part gives you a clear way to add a mid-level spreader to your equipment. Its appeal is specific fit and purpose, not extra features or claims beyond that.
In a FLOWTECH100 setup
A mid-level spreader sits between the tripod legs, helping keep their spread arranged as part of the support setup. For a fixed camera position, that can make the tripod arrangement easier to repeat: place the FLOWTECH100 where you need it, set up the spreader with it, then frame your shot. It’s a simple, role-specific accessory for operators who want their tripod setup to include a spreader at this height.
Specialist Note
The Sachtler SAC-S2056-0001 is the part to choose when you need a mid-level spreader in a FLOWTECH100 tripod setup. The mid-level position is useful when you want the legs held in a consistent spread for a fixed interview frame or a tabletop product shot; set up the FLOWTECH100 with the spreader in place before you compose, and you can build your camera position around that arrangement. I’d point this out to operators who use the named tripod system and want this specific spreader position. Its limitation is also clear: it’s an accessory for the FLOWTECH100 setup, not a standalone support, so its usefulness depends on having that tripod system.
