Nedis USB 3.0 Stick | Keep everyday files together

Without a USB stick, moving a file can mean sending it through an online service or hunting for another way to share it. This Nedis USB 3.0 stick gives you a small, direct option for carrying files from one place to another. Its 32GB capacity suits everyday documents, photos and other files you want to keep handy, rather than a large archive. The listed speeds are 80 Mbps for reading and 9 Mbps for writing. That difference matters: it’s better suited to retrieving files than to repeatedly saving large batches. If you mainly need a simple place for files you use now and then, those numbers give you a clear idea of what to expect. It’s a straightforward storage stick, with no extra claims needed to explain its role.

Reading and writing speeds

Read speed describes how quickly information is retrieved from the stick; write speed describes how quickly it’s saved onto it. Here, the listed read figure is considerably higher than the write figure. In practical terms, that makes this a more sensible pick for carrying files you’ll open or copy off the stick than for frequent, heavy writing tasks. If you’re saving a large folder, the 9 Mbps write figure is the one to keep in mind. For occasional file hand-offs and access to stored material, the 80 Mbps read figure is the more relevant number. The distinction is easy to miss when shopping, but it’s useful: the two speeds describe different jobs, and they aren’t interchangeable.
