SmallRig 5723 Wrist Strap Mount for Action Cameras - 180° rotation and tilt
Handheld action-camera footage keeps one hand occupied and ties the viewpoint to your grip. The SmallRig 5723 Wrist Strap Mount for Action Cameras adds a wrist-worn position, with a ball head that rotates through 180° and a two-point connection that tilts through 180°. That adjustable angle is useful for point-of-view clips in sports, travel footage and vlogs where you want the camera to follow your hand rather than stay fixed in front of you. Wear it for an action sequence, capture a travel moment while keeping your hands freer, or frame a close-up from your own perspective. The strap uses elastic Lycra and closes with adjustable hook-and-loop fasteners, so you can set the fit around your wrist. A padded section sits against the inside of the wrist. It’s a compact way to bring an action camera onto your wrist, with the viewing angle adjustable at the mount instead of relying only on how you hold the camera.
Strap and camera positioning
- Adjustable camera angle: The ball head rotates up to 180°, while the two-point connection tilts up to 180°. Use the two movements to set the camera’s direction for wrist-level footage.
- Elastic Lycra strap: The high-density Lycra fabric is breathable and skin-friendly. Its elasticity accommodates different wrist sizes, and the material is made for repeated use.
- Hook-and-loop closure: The fasteners adjust to your wrist and close securely. That lets you set the strap snugly rather than rely on a fixed-size band.
- Padded wrist contact: A built-in cushion on the inner wrist spreads pressure and reduces rubbing during longer periods of wear.
- Standard two-point connection: The mount is made for action cameras with a standard two-point connection. The complete unit measures 80 × 80 × 110 mm and weighs 41.6 g.
Specialist Note
“Can I point the camera where my wrist is moving?” Yes—the 180° rotation and 180° tilt give you two separate adjustments, so you can angle the view toward an activity or down toward what your hand is doing. I’d recommend it to action-camera users who want wrist-level sports footage or a first-person travel clip; set the angle at the mount before recording, then let your hand position guide the shot. The Lycra strap feels like a more accommodating option than a rigid band, and the inner cushion is there to ease pressure and rubbing over longer stretches. Do bear in mind that the camera needs a standard two-point connection.”
