The Samyang 50mm F1.4 AF Sony FE II is a versatile prime lens designed for full-frame and APS-C Sony E-mount cameras. As the next generation of Samyang’s autofocus 50mm series, it combines a brighter aperture, refined optics, and a more compact design for everyday shooting.

Sharper optics in a smaller body

This second-generation lens features an upgraded optical formula with 11 elements in 8 groups, including 2 ASP, 3 HR, and 1 ED elements. The result is crisp detail, strong clarity, and excellent performance across the frame. Despite its bright F/1.4 aperture, the lens remains impressively compact at just 88.9 mm long and 420 grams in weight.

Made for portraits, video, and more

With its classic 50mm perspective, this lens is well suited to portrait, documentary, architecture, and food photography. On a full-frame camera, it offers a 45.7° angle of view, while APS-C users get a 31.1° field of view. The minimum focus distance of 40 cm also makes it a strong choice for close-up portraits and detail shots.
