This Sirui Sniper kit gives Nikon Z APS-C photographers two autofocus options: a 16mm and a 75mm, each with an f/1.2 maximum aperture. The shorter lens suits environmental portraits, street scenes and wider compositions; the longer focal length gives you a more focused view for portraits and details. Both lenses are designed for APS-C format, and the silver finish gives the set a distinctive look. It’s a considered kit for photographers who want to move between two noticeably different ways of framing without giving up a bright maximum aperture. Use the 16mm when you want more of the setting around your subject, then switch to the 75mm when you want that subject to take up more of the frame.

Specialist Note

Switching from a wide view to a portrait without a second lens option can leave you compromising on framing; this kit gives you both ends in one set. On a Nikon DX body, the 16mm frames like a 24mm lens on full frame, which is handy for including a person and their surroundings. The 75mm gives a 112.5mm-equivalent view, so it suits a tighter portrait or a detail from a little farther back. I’d use f/1.2 when you want to keep the aperture wide open and make the most of available light. This will suit Nikon Z APS-C photographers who regularly move between environmental scenes and close portraits. The trade-off is that these are two distinct focal lengths, not a continuous zoom range.

Technical Specifications

Product type: Interchangeable lens

Lens type: Lens kit

Focal lengths: 16mm and 75mm

Maximum aperture: f/1.2

Mount: Nikon Z

Sensor format: APS-C

Focus: Autofocus

Finish: Silver

https://www.htf-store.com/ar/products/sirui-sniper-16mm-75mm-f-1-2-aps-c-s35-auto-focus-lens-kit-z-mount-silver
