Urth Andesite Camera Pouch (Black): Carry small essentials close
The Urth Andesite Camera Pouch (Black) packs 2 litres into a compact, padded pouch for keeping a small set of essentials together. Its understated black finish suits everyday carry, and the discreet shape works well for a city walk, a coffee stop or a short outing when you’d rather take keys, a phone and AirPods than a full bag. Inside, the recycled polyester lining gives your belongings a soft layer, while the weather-resistant recycled nylon exterior adds protection from light weather. At 175 × 135 × 70 mm, the pouch stays compact; it weighs 200 g. Hidden storage keeps the design neat, and a separate outer pocket puts frequently reached-for items within quick reach. For anyone after a simple way to carry personal essentials alongside a camera outing, it’s a focused alternative to packing a larger everyday bag.
What it does
- Magnetic outer pocket: The closure keeps the pocket shut while allowing quick access to small essentials such as keys, a phone or AirPods.
- Padded exterior: The cushioned outer construction adds a layer of protection around the pouch’s contents.
- Weather-resistant recycled nylon: The outer material offers added protection when you’re out and about, while making use of recycled fabric.
- Compact dimensions: Measuring 175 × 135 × 70 mm, the pouch has a neat profile for carrying a modest set of belongings.
- Recycled polyester lining: The inner fabric provides a smooth layer around the items you carry.
Specialist Note
At a café counter on a busy afternoon, the Andesite keeps your phone and keys together instead of scattered through a larger bag. I like that the recycled nylon strap detaches and adjusts from 70 to 125 cm: wear it over the shoulder, or shorten it for crossbody carry when you’re moving through town. At 200 g, it won’t add much to the load. The 2-litre capacity is for personal essentials, not a full camera kit, so I’d choose it for a light outing rather than as your main camera bag.
