Kiwi Photo Lens Mount Adapter (LMA-PEN_M4/3)
Kiwi Photo Lens Mount Adapter (LMA-PEN_M4/3) | Connect PEN and M4/3 mounts
Having a lens and camera with different mount names is the problem this adapter addresses. The Kiwi Photo Lens Mount Adapter (LMA-PEN_M4/3) is identified for a PEN lens mount and a Micro Four Thirds camera mount, providing a physical link between those two mount types. It’s for photographers who own a lens with the PEN mount and want to use it on a Micro Four Thirds camera body. The model code is useful when distinguishing this version from other Kiwi Photo adapters: the mount pairing is part of its name. That makes it relevant when bringing a compatible PEN-mount lens into a Micro Four Thirds camera setup, or when keeping that lens available for another body in the same system. The information provided identifies the mount pairing, but doesn’t establish electronic functions or operating details, so I’m keeping the description to what’s confirmed.
Mount Details
- PEN lens mount: This is the lens-side mount identified in the product code. It specifies the lens connection this adapter is intended to accept.
- Micro Four Thirds camera mount: The camera-side pairing is M4/3, making this the Kiwi Photo version named for that system.
- Dedicated model code: LMA-PEN_M4/3 identifies this particular mount combination. Matching the code to your lens and camera mounts helps distinguish it from other adapters.
- Mount adapter format: Its stated purpose is to connect the two named mount types, rather than to serve as a lens or camera body itself.
Specialist Note
The confirmed detail here is the mount pairing, so I wouldn’t promise autofocus, aperture control or other electronic functions on that basis alone. The reason to consider this Kiwi Photo adapter is straightforward: its LMA-PEN_M4/3 code names a PEN lens mount and a Micro Four Thirds camera mount. That makes it relevant if you’re building a setup around those exact connections and want to use a PEN-mount lens on an M4/3 body. I’d treat the mount match as the deciding point, rather than assume extra features. For a specific lens-and-body combination, get the adapter’s operation confirmed before relying on functions beyond the physical mount connection.
