K&F Concept Lens Adapter Canon FD Leica M
K&F Concept Lens Adapter Canon FD Leica M | Pair Canon FD lenses with Leica M
K&F Concept Lens Adapter Canon FD Leica M is a mount adapter for pairing Canon FD lenses with Leica M camera bodies. It’s for photographers who already own Canon FD glass and want to bring a familiar lens into a Leica M setup. The appeal is practical: you can build around a lens you have, rather than treating this as a lens in its own right. It suits a photographer planning a specific Canon FD-to-Leica M pairing, whether that means making portraits or photographing everyday street scenes. Think of it as a connection between those two mount systems, not a general-purpose accessory. Its usefulness depends on having a Canon FD lens and a Leica M camera as the intended combination. If that’s your setup, this adapter gives you a direct way to explore that pairing; it isn’t a substitute for choosing a lens that suits the way you want to shoot.
Specialist Note
Photographers who use Canon FD lenses for portraits or street scenes are the ones I’d talk to about this adapter. The Canon FD side is for the lens you already own; the Leica M side is for the camera body you want to pair it with. For a portrait, attach the FD lens through the adapter and make that familiar lens your starting point. For street work, the same pairing lets you build around your chosen FD lens rather than selecting a different one for the Leica M body. I’d keep expectations focused: this is specific to the Canon FD and Leica M combination, not a general adapter for other setups.
