Laowa Lens Cap For 6mm f/2.0 (LAO-LC620)
Laowa Lens Cap For 6mm f/2.0 (LAO-LC620) | Keep its matching lens covered between shoots
Laowa Lens Cap For 6mm f/2.0 (LAO-LC620) is the cap named for Laowa’s 6mm f/2.0 lens. It’s for photographers who own that specific lens and want to cover it when it’s off the camera, between compositions or packed away. The job is straightforward: put the cap on when the lens isn’t in use, covering its front while you move around or store your kit. Its value is in being identified with one particular Laowa lens, rather than being presented as a general-purpose cap. If you use the 6mm f/2.0 for close interiors or expansive scenes, this is the dedicated cap to keep alongside it. It makes the pause between shooting and packing simple: cover the lens, then put it away. For an owner of the named lens, that specific pairing is the point.
Specialist Note
Photographers using the 6mm f/2.0 for close interior views or broad scenes are the people I’d point to this cap. The 6mm designation matters because the cap is named for that particular lens; I’d keep it paired with the lens in your bag and put it on whenever you pause or pack up. The f/2.0 marking identifies the lens it’s intended for; it isn’t an adjustment this accessory makes, so the cap won’t change exposure or image rendering. Its role is simply to cover the lens when you’re not shooting. That specific pairing is also its limit: it’s for the named Laowa lens, not a general cap for the rest of your kit.
