Ulanzi TT24 Auto-Open Selfiestick Tripod w/ Cka-Ball Head | Ready support for fast-moving subjects

Its auto-open design gives this monopod a quick-start feel, while the Cka-Ball head adds a framing option you don’t get from a simple stick. It suits photographers who want support for a long lens but need to stay mobile: think sports and wildlife, where you may need to follow a subject, or events where a tripod takes up too much room. The TT24 is a monopod rather than a substitute for a full tripod, so you stay involved in keeping the camera pointed and steady. That’s useful when the action shifts and you need to react without carrying a wide tripod footprint. It also works as a selfiestick tripod, making it a more flexible support style than the name “monopod” alone might suggest. Choose it for situations where quick access and a smaller working space matter more than leaving the camera fixed in place.

Specialist Note

Many first-time monopod users expect the support to hold a long-lens setup completely still on its own. The TT24 is better understood as help with the weight: you can stay ready to follow the play or an animal rather than settling into a fixed tripod position. Its auto-open design is useful when you want to get set up promptly, and the Cka-Ball head gives you a way to adjust the camera’s framing angle. I’d consider it for field sports or wildlife, especially when space is tight at an event. One limitation to keep in mind: it’s still a monopod, so you’ll need to guide and steady the camera yourself.
