Kase Revolution Anti-Laser 82mm: Reduce laser exposure and yellow light pollution
Shock-resistant Kase Wolverine glass is the defining choice in the Kase Revolution Anti-Laser 82mm: the filter reduces laser energy reaching a camera’s CMOS sensor, which can be damaged along with its coating by direct exposure. Stage laser lighting can exceed 10 watts, while architectural laser applications can reach 40 watts; both are a different risk from a typical 1–5 milliwatt pointer. Sensor damage can appear as red, purple or blue marks, and severe exposure can leave horizontal or vertical lines across an image. That makes this filter relevant for concert and event photography, and for photographing buildings illuminated by laser installations.
