Telesin Selfie Stick Mini Tripod 2.0 with Ball Head for GoPro | Selfies, group shots and action footage

Get yourself into the travel selfie, fit more friends into a group photo, or set up a hands-free angle for action-camera footage. The Telesin Selfie Stick Mini Tripod 2.0 brings a selfie stick and a mini tripod together, with a ball head for positioning a GoPro. Hold it out for a photo with the group, or use the tripod form when you want the camera to stay in place while you record. That makes it a practical option for travellers and GoPro users who want one small support for both pictures with people and footage of what they’re doing. The ball head gives you a way to adjust the camera’s aim without needing to move the whole support. It’s a compact-format option rather than a replacement for a full-height tripod, but its two forms suit the everyday situations a full tripod can feel cumbersome for.

Specialist Note

2.0 is the version named in the product title; in practice, the useful detail is the combination of a selfie stick and a mini tripod. For a travel selfie or group shot, hold the stick out so the GoPro can include more of the scene. For action-camera footage, set the mini tripod down and use the ball head to aim the camera where you want the action in frame. I’d point this out to someone who wants to switch between being in the photo and recording hands-free, without bringing a full-size tripod along. Its mini-tripod format does limit it as a substitute for taller support, but that’s not what this one is for.
