Godox Eazyflow Foldable Rect 40x90 Bowens Softbox

Godox Eazyflow Foldable Rect 40x90 Bowens Softbox | Shape light in a narrow area

When a portrait or product setup needs a long, controlled area of soft light, a rectangular softbox can be a practical fit. The Godox Eazyflow Foldable Rect 40x90 Bowens Softbox is a foldable softbox with a 40x90 rectangular format and a Bowens mount. Its proportions make it worth considering when you want an elongated light source rather than a square one, such as for a vertical highlight or a strip of light along a subject. It suits photographers building a studio lighting setup around Bowens equipment and looking for a softbox with a defined rectangular shape. The foldable design is useful when you need to put the modifier away between shoots. One detail to keep in mind: the title gives the dimensions as 40x90 without specifying a unit, so we’ve kept that format as supplied.

Where its shape can help

The long rectangle gives you a different starting point for shaping light than a square softbox. In a portrait, you might use an elongated source to create a taller reflection in the eyes or a narrow highlight along the face; with a product, it can help form a clean reflection across a long edge. These are possible ways to work with the shape, not fixed results—the effect depends on where you place the light and the subject. If you’re choosing a softbox for a particular setup, think about whether that longer outline suits the highlight you want. The Bowens mount is the fitting named for this model, so it’s relevant when planning around your lighting equipment.
