That makes the GREEN.L HMCW Fader useful when the light changes or you want to fine-tune exposure without changing filters. It’s an option for photographers who want to manage shutter speed or aperture in bright conditions, including when photographing moving water or making portraits outdoors. The 67mm size identifies the filter diameter, so it’s intended for a lens with a matching filter thread. Adjust the fader to control how much light reaches the camera, then set exposure for the result you want. The appeal here is flexibility across a broad stated range, not a fixed creative effect; you choose the amount of reduction to suit the scene.

Specialist Note

Exposure changes are easier to manage when you can adjust the ND effect in one filter instead of swapping between fixed strengths. The ND2–2000 range gives you room to fine-tune the light reduction: for moving water, increase it until you can use a slower shutter speed for more motion blur; for an outdoor portrait, adjust it to keep your chosen aperture in bright light. The 67mm diameter matters at the point of setup: your lens needs a matching filter thread. I’d suggest this to someone who wants that adjustable control and is happy to check exposure as the light changes. The filter helps shape exposure; it doesn’t decide your shutter speed or aperture for you.

Technical Specifications

Brand: GREEN.L

Product: HMCW ND2-2000 67mm Fader

Filter category: ND filter

Filter diameter: 67mm
