It’s a tripod accessory designed for Canon BP-945/970G-type batteries, so its purpose is clear: providing a battery mount plate for that type. That specificity is useful when you’re choosing parts for an existing setup and want the plate to match the battery format already in your plan. It isn’t described as a general-purpose plate, so I’d keep the decision focused on the named battery type rather than assume broader compatibility. For a shop-built or working video setup where the battery format is already settled, the S-7000C keeps this accessory choice straightforward. It’s a practical fit for people assembling a tripod setup around the stated battery type, rather than shoppers looking for a plate with a range of unspecified uses.

Specialist Note

The SWIT S-7000C gives a tripod setup a specific battery mount plate for BP-945/970G-type batteries. I’d choose it when that battery format is already part of your video setup, rather than trying to make a less specific accessory do the job. Its classification as a tripod accessory makes it relevant when you’re sorting out the mounting side of a tripod-based arrangement; the named battery type helps keep the choice precise. For example, if you’re assembling a tripod setup around BP-945/970G-type batteries, use this plate as the matching accessory in that plan. The honest limitation is its stated scope: it’s for that battery type, not a universal battery plate.

Technical Specifications

Product: SWIT S-7000C

Product kind: Tripod accessory

Battery type: Canon BP-945/970G type

https://www.htf-store.com/de/products/swit-s-7000c-s-7000c-dv-battery-mount-plate-for-canon-bp-945-970g-type
