The 3 Legged Thing Axis Double Sling Inferno is a camera strap, and its name identifies it as a double-sling design. That makes it relevant to photographers who work with two camera bodies, such as event photographers switching between different shooting setups or portrait photographers who want another body close by. The practical point is the two-camera arrangement; the product details available here don’t establish how it attaches, adjusts or distributes weight, so I wouldn’t assume those specifics. If you want a strap for carrying a single camera, the double-sling design may be more than you need. For a photographer who does carry two, it offers a dedicated alternative to juggling both cameras separately. Its name is specific, but the carrying arrangement is the main reason to consider it.

Specialist Note

The double-sling format is the reason to choose this over carrying two cameras separately. I’d consider it if you regularly alternate between two bodies during an event, or want one body set up for portraits and another ready for a different framing. The “double” in the name points to a two-camera setup; think through which body you’ll reach for most often before deciding how you want to carry them. It’s a focused option rather than a simple single-camera strap, so it makes most sense when you’ll actually use both positions. I can’t advise on fit or adjustment from the details available, but the intended use is clear.

Technical Specifications

Product type: Camera strap

Design: Double sling

Brand: 3 Legged Thing

Model: Axis Double Sling Inferno
