It’s suited to photographers and video makers who need a green background for chroma-key work, from a planned portrait or product shoot to a scene with more room in the frame. The 5-metre length gives you room to plan how much background appears in the shot, while the 2.9-metre width is the limit to bear in mind when arranging people, objects and framing. It’s a straightforward option if you already know a green screen is part of your setup and want a cloth in this size. One honest point: the dimensions alone don’t tell you how much of your scene the background will cover, so think about your framing and available space before the shoot. The useful combination here is chroma green and a 2.9 x 5 m format.

Planning your chroma setup

Start by deciding what needs to be visible in the final frame. That gives you a better sense of how to position your subject in relation to the green background, and whether the 2.9-metre width suits the composition you have in mind. The 5-metre length gives you another dimension to plan around; it doesn’t remove the need to check the space available for your setup. For a close portrait, you may frame differently than for a wider view with more of the subject or scene included. Keep the background area in mind as you compose, and allow for the full subject to fit within the shot. Those simple checks help you make a realistic plan for using this cloth in a chroma-key shoot, without relying on assumptions about your room or the final framing.

Technical Specifications

Brand and model: Falcon Eyes BCP-10

Product type: Chroma background cloth

Colour: Green

Dimensions: 2.9 x 5 m
