It suits camera crews using that follow focus who want to keep their focus marks organised for a planned shot. The disk’s purpose is specific: it gives you a place to mark focus positions, helping make a planned pull easier to follow and repeat. That’s most useful when a shot has defined focus cues, such as a subject moving between set positions, and the focus puller needs to refer back to those marks. It’s a small, task-focused accessory rather than a complete follow focus system, so its value depends on already working with the Nucleus-M II. If you’re setting up a Nucleus-M II workflow and need a marking disk for it, this Tilta part is the relevant accessory to consider.

Specialist Note

06 is part of the WLC-T06-FMD model name, which gives you a precise identifier when asking for or organising this marking disk. I’d use it when a Nucleus-M II focus pull needs clear reference marks: note the intended focus positions for a scripted move, then use the disk to keep those cues visible to the person pulling focus. It also makes sense for repeatable setups where the same focus points need to be called again. The honest limitation is that this is a marking disk, not a follow focus on its own; it makes most sense as part of a Nucleus-M II setup.

Technical Specifications

Brand: Tilta

Product type: Tripod accessory

Product: Nucleus-M II follow focus marking disk

Model: WLC-T06-FMD
