OM SYSTEM OM System-Pol-053 O-Ring PT-053/PT-055/056/057 | Replacement seal for four PT models

After removing the seal from a compatible PT housing for cleaning or replacement, a correctly matched O-ring is the part you need to restore its intended sealing point. The OM SYSTEM OM System-Pol-053 is identified for the PT-053, PT-055, PT-056 and PT-057, giving owners of those named models a replacement ring rather than a reason to improvise with an uncertain size. An O-ring is small, but its job matters wherever the housing depends on that seal. This is for owners maintaining one of the four listed PT models, especially when the existing ring is damaged or no longer suitable for reuse. Match the model designation before fitting it, and follow the housing’s own guidance for handling and seating the ring. Its value is specific: it’s a replacement seal for the PT models named here.

Specialist Note

This O-ring’s clearest job is replacing the seal in one of the named PT housings, rather than making a substitute ring fit. If your housing is a PT-053 or PT-055, the model listing gives you a direct match; the same applies to the PT-056 and PT-057. Keep the model number in view when choosing it, then seat the ring as the housing’s own instructions specify—that’s what lets the replacement do its sealing job. I’d keep expectations focused: this is a specific spare part, not a filter or a universal accessory. It suits owners maintaining one of these four PT models.
