Nedis Charger 1X 2.4 A USB-A w/o Cable 12 W

Nedis Charger 1X 2.4 A USB-A w/o Cable 12 W | A simple adapter for your USB-A lead

The useful distinction with this Nedis charger is straightforward: it has one USB-A connection and is sold without a cable. That suits you if you already have a USB-A charging lead and want a separate adapter for it, rather than another cable bundled into the purchase. Its stated rating is 12 W, with a current of 2.4 A. Those figures make it a simple option for everyday charging setups built around a USB-A lead; they don’t tell you how quickly any particular device will charge, since that depends on the device and cable too. I’d think of it as a practical replacement or spare adapter, especially when the cable you use is still in good shape. There’s no extra connection to figure out on the charger itself: the choice is mainly whether a USB-A adapter with this rating suits the charging setup you have.

Choosing a cable for this charger

Since the charger is supplied without a cable, the lead is a separate part of your setup. Look at the plug on the adapter end of the cable you plan to use: it needs to be USB-A to connect here. The other end of the lead is determined by the device you want to charge, so choose a cable that fits that device and its charging requirements. A matching connector is the first step, but it doesn’t by itself establish that every device will charge at the same rate. If you’re replacing a worn adapter, this Nedis model gives you a single USB-A connection and a stated 12 W rating to compare with the needs of your existing setup. That’s the honest limit of what the label tells you.
