VisibleDust EZ Sensor Cleaning Kit Mini 1.0X/24mm Vswabs

VisibleDust EZ Sensor Cleaning Kit Mini 1.0X/24mm Vswabs: Clean 24 mm sensors with matched swabs

Dust and water-based marks on a camera sensor can show up in photographs long after the cleaning cloth is packed away. The VisibleDust EZ Sensor Cleaning Kit Mini 1.0X/24mm Vswabs pairs 1.0 ml of Sensor Clean with two green MXD-100 swabs for 24 mm digital camera sensors. Its focus is specific: a fast-evaporating, alcohol-free fluid for water-based spots and dust, matched with swabs shaped to cover the sensor surface. That makes the kit useful for dealing with water-based marks, removing dust from the sensor area, and cleaning across the full surface from edge to edge and corner to corner. Sensor Clean is non-flammable and has anti-fog and anti-static properties, addressing two familiar frustrations during sensor cleaning: haze and dust settling back onto the surface. The Vswabs have a V-shaped profile, a fabric designed to hold cleaning fluid, and a formed mini-channel that spreads it evenly. VisibleDust also states that the swab design prevents scratches and reduces streaking compared with flat paddles. For oily spots or residue, the fluid can be paired with the separately available VDust Plus or Smear Away solutions.

Sensor Cleaning Highlights

• Made for 24 mm sensors: The 1.0x MXD-100 swabs are specified for 24 mm digital camera sensors. Their size is matched to the sensor area they are intended to clean.
• Two green Vswabs: The kit includes two single-use cleaning swabs in the green MXD-100 style. Their V-shaped form is intended to improve manoeuvrability over the sensor surface.
• Sensor Clean fluid, 1.0 ml: The included solution is intended for water-based dust and marks. It evaporates quickly, so the cleaning fluid doesn't linger on the sensor surface.
• Anti-fog and anti-static properties: The solution is described as anti-fogging for clarity and antistatic to limit dust adhesion. Those properties address haze and particles settling during a cleaning session.
• Fabric that holds fluid: The swab material is made to retain the cleaning solution and is described as preventing scratches during sensor cleaning. Its construction is tailored to contact with the sensor surface.
• Formed mini-channel: A patented channel in the swab helps distribute fluid evenly across its face. VisibleDust says this design reduces streaks associated with flat-surface paddles.
