Yongnuo YNRAY100 LED Lamp - WB (2700 K - 6500 K)

Yongnuo YNRAY100 LED Lamp - WB (2700 K - 6500 K) | Set the light’s colour temperature to suit the scene

When daylight from a window mixes with warm room lighting, a light source with a set colour temperature can be hard to blend in. The Yongnuo YNRAY100 is an LED lamp with a white-balance range of 2700 K to 6500 K, giving you a way to choose a warmer or cooler tone for your continuous lighting. It suits photographers and video makers who want to make that colour choice while setting up a scene, rather than relying on one fixed tone. The range is the useful detail here: it runs from warm light to cooler, daylight-style light. That makes the lamp relevant for indoor setups where the look of the light matters alongside its role in illuminating the subject. It’s a straightforward option to consider when adjustable colour temperature is the main requirement; the title doesn’t give a brightness figure, so I’d focus on the colour control when deciding if it fits your setup.

Choosing a warmer or cooler tone

Kelvin figures describe the colour appearance of the light. At the warmer end, light looks more amber; toward the cooler end, it appears bluer. In practice, you can use that adjustment to bring the lamp’s tone closer to the other light in a room, or choose a different look for the scene. A lower setting can suit an intentionally warm atmosphere, while a higher setting can give a cooler appearance. Those are colour choices, rather than a promise that the lamp will match every room or light source exactly. If you’re comparing continuous lights, the YNRAY100’s defining information is its LED format and stated white-balance span. Keep the decision focused on whether that range matches the kind of colour adjustment you need.
