Hama 8K-HDMI-Switch Bidirectional 1 In 2 Out/2 In 1 Out

Hama 8K-HDMI-Switch Bidirectional 1 In 2 Out/2 In 1 Out | Switch HDMI routing both ways

Usually, changing which HDMI equipment is connected means reaching for the cables and swapping connections. The Hama 8K-HDMI-Switch gives you two routing layouts in one bidirectional switch: 1 input to 2 outputs, or 2 inputs to 1 output. That makes it relevant if your setup needs to send one HDMI input toward either of two outputs, or choose between two inputs for one output. Its name also identifies it as an 8K HDMI switch, so the product is aimed at setups where that label matters. The useful detail is the reversible direction: you can orient the switch around the connection problem you actually have, rather than buying a switch that only covers one of those layouts. It’s a straightforward bit of connection management, not a device for changing what your equipment can do.

Choose the layout that matches your connections

Think of the two configurations as alternatives. With 1 In 2 Out, one input is routed toward two output connections; with 2 In 1 Out, two inputs are routed toward one output. The bidirectional design is the point here, so the same switch can suit either kind of arrangement. It’s worth being clear about which direction you need before setting up your cables: the labels describe the input-to-output layout, not an extra feature or a promise about how many displays operate at once. For a home or work setup where HDMI connections need to be redirected, that simple choice is the practical reason to consider this model. The housing is black, which gives it a plain, unobtrusive look alongside other equipment.
