Permajet Fine Art Super Gloss Canvas 400 Roll 24INCHES 15m

Permajet Fine Art Super Gloss Canvas 400 | Glossy canvas for fine art prints

Your artwork gets a canvas surface with a pronounced gloss, in a roll format suited to making prints in your chosen lengths. Permajet Fine Art Super Gloss Canvas 400 is a 24-inch-wide, 15-metre roll of fine art canvas. It’ll suit artists and printmakers who want to produce canvas prints from a roll rather than work with individual sheets. The key point is the finish: this is the super gloss option, so it’s for images where a shiny surface is part of the intended presentation. The name also gives you the 400 designation; I’ve kept that as a product designation rather than guessing what it refers to. For planning, think about the artwork’s proportions and the space where it’ll be displayed before you settle on a print size. That makes it easier to use the roll for work that feels deliberately composed, rather than simply sized to the available material.

Working with the roll format

A roll gives you room to choose the length of each print, which can be handy when you’re preparing several pieces with different proportions. The 24-inch width is the fixed dimension to plan around; the image itself can be laid out to suit the format you need. If you’re making a group of prints, consider how their dimensions will look together before starting. Gloss is also a visible part of the final presentation, so take the intended viewing environment into account when choosing images for this canvas. A highly reflective finish may be more noticeable under direct light than in a softer-lit space. That’s a practical consideration, not a reason to avoid the finish: it simply helps you make a considered choice for the work you want to print.
