Falcon Eyes RGB LED Lamp RX-782 + Fold Softbox 100cm

Falcon Eyes RGB LED Lamp RX-782 + Fold Softbox 100cm | Add colour and soften the light

Colour in the scene and a softer-looking light: that’s the aim of the Falcon Eyes RGB LED Lamp RX-782 with its 100cm fold softbox. It’s for photographers and video makers who want to shape the look of a shot with coloured light, rather than relying on plain white illumination alone. The RGB lamp gives you the colour element; the softbox offers a way to diffuse its light for a gentler appearance. That combination can be useful for portraits, product images or a small video setup where the light itself is part of the frame’s mood. The 100cm size gives you a clear reference when planning where it will sit around your subject. One honest point: the title tells us the lamp and softbox pairing, but not the lamp’s output or control options, so this description sticks to what’s named.

Using colour and softened light

Think first about the result you want. A coloured light can add a deliberate accent to a background or subject; softer light can help avoid the harder look associated with a bare light source. These are different jobs, and this pairing gives you both elements to work with. You can build a scene around colour, or use the softbox as the part of the setup that shapes the light’s appearance. The 100cm measurement is handy when considering space: compare it with the area around your subject and the room you plan to use. That won’t tell you exactly how the light will fall, but it’s a sensible starting point for arranging a setup. For a considered result, decide on the colour and placement before you start shooting, then judge the look in the frame.
