DZOFILM Arles 40mm FF/VV Prime Cine Lens (PL Mount Meter)

DZOFilm Arles 40mm FF/VV Prime Cinema Lens (PL mount, meter)

The DZOFilm Arles 40mm FF/VV Prime Cinema Lens (PL mount, meter) is designed to produce stunningly sharp and lifelike images for full-frame ARRI PL-mount cameras. It is distinguished by its broad T1.4 aperture, enabling exceptional low-light capabilities and an engrossing narrow depth of field. It possesses an advanced optical structure and a 16-blade aperture, both of which heighten the bokeh quality. The lens also boasts a 270° rotation on its focus ring, and a 77° rotation on the iris ring, thereby guaranteeing precise manual operation.

With a 50mm image circle, this lens is optimized for large-format camera sensors. When utilized with large apertures, it can deliver soft, low-contrast imagery alongside a characteristic swirling bokeh.

Additionally, the lens contains floating elements to minimize breathing, as well as aspherical elements to enhance performance in low-light conditions. Low dispersion optical substances help to decrease chromatic aberration.
