Sirui Astra Series 75mm T1.8 1.33X FullFrame Cine Lens (Z Mount Neutral Flare)

Sirui Astra Series 75mm T1.8 1.33X FullFrame Cine Lens (Z Mount Neutral Flare) | Anamorphic framing for deliberate cine work

On a dialogue scene where you want a composed view of your subject without moving the camera close, a 75mm short telephoto prime earns its place. The Sirui Astra Series 75mm T1.8 is an interchangeable cine lens for Nikon Z full-frame cameras, aimed at filmmakers and video creators who plan their shots. Its short-telephoto framing suits interviews, close details and focused cutaways. The lens has an estimated 32° angle of view, giving you a relatively contained frame to work with. It’s a specialist prime for considered video setups, rather than an all-purpose option when framing needs to change quickly. If you’re building scenes with controlled compositions, its focal length gives you a clear starting point for placing the camera and shaping the shot.

Working with the anamorphic image

Because this is the Neutral Flare version, its name is useful when you’re planning a consistent look across a production. For the anamorphic presentation, plan to apply a matching desqueeze in post and review the composition after that adjustment. That way, you’re judging the final frame rather than relying on how the squeezed image appears during editing.
