Its key feature is its external installation and power kit, permitting wireless transmission, LED lighting, and power via a Sony F-970 battery. This setup conveniently provides monitor and wireless video transmission without the need for intricate cable management.

The F7 Pro is perfect as a camera monitor for DSLR and mirrorless cameras. Moreover, its powerful ancillary output (DC OUT 8V) can power cameras too. Coupled with a battery adapter cable (optional), the F7 PRO extends the camera's run time while offering an improved operational screen.

This video control system comes with focus, framing, and exposure tools (waveform, RGB parade, vectorscope, RGB histogram, histogram, embedded audio, focus peaking, zoom, zebra, false colors, safe frames etc.), a flexible 1D LUT implementation (supporting built-in LOG conversion to Rec.3 video or upload of .cube files). It also supports anamorphic de-squeeze monitoring.

For in-depth image quality analysis, the F7 PRO's built-in waveform monitoring is handy, providing accurate monitoring of everything you need to know about your video and audio signals. Its features can be individually enabled, and it also supports a one-key access to the entire scope mode.

The F7 PRO comes with mounting points on the bottom, back, left, and right, allowing fastening to the camera using the included mini shoe mounting adapter. It can also be mounted to other types of equipment using a magic arm or bracket. It's supplied with a detachable standard accessory mini shoe mount adapter, easily attachable to camera monitor, LED light, flash, or microphone.

Also included in the packaging is a sunshade. This allows the videographer to concentrate on the video and avoid strong light interference, thereby delivering a superior visual experience. The sunshade's simple and quick installation process makes it suitable even for outdoor shooting.

Please note that different camera brands and models have different power requirements. Using batteries to power the monitor is recommended, but a fully charged, high-capacity battery should allow for normal camera use.
