Hama FM-Transmitter w/ Bluetooth-EN Handsfree-Functie
Hama FM-Transmitter w/ Bluetooth-EN Handsfree-Functie | Trigger off-camera flash for portraits and products
Having to keep your flash on the camera can limit where you place the light. The Hama FM-Transmitter is a flash trigger: it lets you fire an off-camera flash for portraits and product photography. That makes it relevant if you want the flash away from the camera while you work, rather than lighting every subject from the same position. For portrait sessions, it can help you use flash off-camera; for product shots, it gives you the same freedom to separate the flash from the camera. Its role is straightforward: triggering off-camera flash, not providing light itself. The supplier lists it in silver. The product name also includes Bluetooth and hands-free wording, while the confirmed photography use is as a flash transmitter. If your main aim is to trigger flash for portrait or product work, that’s the detail to focus on.
Specialist Note
Can this Hama transmitter fire an off-camera flash? Yes—that’s its stated photography role. I’d consider it for portraits or product work when you want the flash separate from the camera: use the trigger to fire the flash as you make the picture. It’s a focused bit of kit, so I’d choose it for that job rather than assume the Bluetooth wording in the product name means it offers particular camera controls. The silver colour is also easy to pick out among dark accessories in a kit bag. If you need a trigger for a specific camera system, make sure the fit is right before relying on it; no system compatibility is confirmed here.
