Leofoto Summit Series 6 Section Carbon Fiber Tripod w/ 75mm Video Bowl
Leofoto Summit Series 6 Section Carbon Fiber Tripod w/ 75mm Video Bowl | Steady support for stills and video
Long exposures and careful compositions are hard to keep steady when your camera has no dependable support. The Leofoto Summit Series tripod gives you a fixed platform for landscapes, night skies, astro photography and video, so you can take your time framing instead of trying to hold a position. Its 75mm video bowl makes it relevant to video setups as well as still photography, while the six-section carbon fibre construction gives the legs a multi-section design for positioning on location. It suits photographers who want one tripod for deliberate work: composing a landscape, keeping a frame steady during a long exposure, or holding a video shot without hand movement. For night and astro work, a tripod helps keep the camera still while you make your exposure. It’s a practical piece of support equipment for considered shooting, rather than a product built around a long list of extras.
Specialist Note
“Is the 75mm video bowl useful if I also shoot stills?” Yes—it makes this a particularly appealing option if video is part of your kit, while the tripod itself is also suited to still photography. The bowl gives a video head a point for levelling, which is helpful when you want a level frame without changing the angle of every leg. The six leg sections give you several points to adjust as you set up; take a moment to settle the tripod before starting a long exposure or recording. Carbon fibre is the construction, but I wouldn’t choose it on that fact alone: this one makes most sense when you’ll use the bowl for video as well as the support for landscapes or night photography. You’ll still need a suitable video head for video work.
