The Kaiser Filterhouder For Vergroter is a filter accessory for enlarger use, finished in black. It suits photographers making prints in a traditional darkroom who want to use filters as part of their printing process, rather than handling the filter as a separate step. That can be helpful when comparing test strips or refining a print: keep your chosen filter with the enlarger setup as you work, and make deliberate changes to the image on paper. The holder is focused on that one job. It isn’t a filter itself, and the product name doesn’t identify a particular filter type, so it’s best considered as part of a setup where you already have the filter you intend to use. For a hands-on printer, it offers a simple, purpose-specific way to bring filter use into enlarging.

Specialist Note

Having to manage a filter separately while you’re working at the enlarger can interrupt the rhythm of a print session; this Kaiser holder is made for that enlarger-filter role. I’d consider it for a darkroom printer who is comparing test strips and wants to keep filter use within the enlarging workflow, then carry the chosen approach through to the final print. Its black colour is a practical, understated finish among darkroom equipment, and the dedicated filter-holder purpose is the key point: it’s an accessory, not a substitute for the filter itself. I’d pair it with the filter you already use for your enlarger printing. The product information gives no measurements or numbered settings, so I wouldn’t assume a particular fit or filter format.

Technical Specifications

Product: Kaiser Filterhouder For Vergroter

Category: Filter accessory

Colour: Black
