The Leofoto MBH-35 is a panning ball head for photographers who want to position a frame for a still image, work across a panorama or make a video pan from a tripod. Its ball-head design suits adjusting the camera’s framing, while the panning function is useful when you want to move the view across a scene. That makes it a practical option for landscape photographers building a wide composition from multiple frames, as well as for video makers who need a tripod-based pan. It’s most at home when you want to compose carefully rather than make quick handheld adjustments. If your work involves both still framing and planned camera movement, this head brings those uses together in one tripod head.

Specialist Note

First-time owners sometimes try to make a panorama by shifting the whole tripod between frames; the MBH-35’s panning function gives you a way to move the view while the tripod stays put. I’d set your composition with the ball-head design first, then use the pan for a series of frames across the scene. That approach suits landscape panoramas, and the same panning function can help when you’re making a video move from a tripod. It’s a focused tool: you’ll still need to guide the framing and movement yourself, so take your time if you want a consistent result.

Technical Specifications

Product kind: tripod head

Head type: ball head

Typical use: precise framing on a tripod for stills, panoramas or video pans
