This PGYTECH filter set suits Pocket 2 owners who film outdoors and want more control over exposure, especially when they’d like motion in a scene to look less staccato. Neutral density filters reduce the light reaching the camera, so you can use a slower shutter speed in bright conditions rather than letting strong daylight dictate the exposure. The ND8, ND16, ND32 and ND64 options provide progressively stronger light reduction; that range is useful as the sun and surroundings change. Start with the lower strength and move up if the image is still too bright. It’s a focused accessory rather than a general upgrade: its job is to give your Pocket 2 more exposure options in bright scenes, not to change the camera’s view or improve low-light filming.

Specialist Note

The PGYTECH ND8/16/32/64 set is best at giving Pocket 2 footage more exposure control in bright daylight. The strength numbers matter in practice: ND8 reduces light less than ND64, so you can begin with the lighter option and step up when the scene calls for it. That’s handy for outdoor clips where you want movement to retain a natural-looking blur instead of appearing overly crisp. It’s specifically named for the DJI Osmo Pocket 2, so this is for Pocket 2 owners, not a general-purpose filter set. One honest limit: stronger ND filters cut more light, so they’re for bright conditions, not dim interiors. I’d keep the choice simple—use the lightest strength that lets you get the exposure you want.

Technical Specifications

Product: Filter set

For: DJI Osmo Pocket 2

Filter strengths: ND8, ND16, ND32, ND64
