It’s made for people who want to include more of the scene or fit a group into a shot without asking someone else to take the picture. At its shorter length, it’s easier to keep close while moving around; extend it when you need to place the camera farther from yourself or the group. That range makes it handy for changing situations on a day out, from a quick self-portrait to a wider group composition. You can also use it to hold an action camera out in front while recording. The TM-2 is a straightforward selfie stick rather than a support for hands-free shooting, so it’s best when you’re there to hold and position it.

Specialist Note

Changing the reach is the useful part here: keep the TM-2 at 23cm when you want the camera close, then extend it towards 84cm to give a group more room in the frame. That shorter setting is handy when you’re walking through a busy place; the longer one gives you more space to frame a travel selfie without stretching your arm as far. For action-camera footage, hold it out in front and adjust the length to bring more of the surroundings into view. I’d suggest it to someone who wants a simple stick for those changing viewpoints. Just bear in mind that it’s still a handheld selfie stick, so it won’t hold the camera steady on its own.

Technical Specifications

Product type: Selfie stick

Length: 23-84cm

Typical uses: Travel selfies, group photos and action-camera footage
