It’s a shoulder rig intended for handheld video work where the camera needs extra support. The L-shaped plate and handle make it a specific add-on for these two Fujifilm cameras, rather than a general-purpose support to choose without checking the model. Use it when you want to keep a clip handheld and have another place to hold the camera setup. That can be helpful for a short moving shot or a sequence where you’re adjusting your framing by hand. The silver finish gives the rig a distinct look alongside the camera. It’s aimed at supporting handheld operation; for a shot that needs to remain fixed, a tripod is still the more suitable approach.

Specialist Note

The L-shaped profile gives the plate a clear side-and-base form, and the handle gives you a defined place to hold the rig while filming. I’d consider it for X100VI or X100V owners making short handheld clips, such as a moving street scene or a quick piece to camera: hold the handle as you frame, rather than relying on the camera alone for support. The silver finish is a visible design detail, so it’s worth considering how you want the setup to look as well as how you’ll use it. One practical limit: this is for handheld support, not a replacement for a tripod when you need a locked-off shot.

Technical Specifications

Product type: Shoulder rig

Compatible cameras: Fujifilm X100VI / X100V

Design: L-shape mount plate with handle

Colour: Silver

Typical use: Handheld video work requiring extra support

https://www.htf-store.com/fr/products/smallrig-4555b-l-shape-mount-plate-w-handle-for-fujifilm-x100vi-x100v-silver
