The maximum T1.5 aperture gives you more room to work when available light is limited, making it useful for interior scenes and other controlled low-light work. Focus is manual, so it best suits operators who can set focus deliberately or plan a focus change during a take. This is a cinema-oriented lens for considered framing, rather than a lens built around autofocus or zooming between shot sizes.
