Ulanzi CU01 Battery For Camera Cooler | Plan power for your cooling setup

Keep your camera-cooling setup in your power plan, rather than treating the cooler as an afterthought. The Ulanzi CU01 is a battery for a camera cooler, suited to people who use camera cooling as part of a video setup and want to account for that equipment alongside the camera. Its role is specific: it provides a battery option for the cooler, not a camera feature or an image-making accessory. That makes it relevant when you’re preparing for a longer recording session or arranging a fixed filming position, where it helps to think through every powered part of the setup before you start. The product name identifies it as the CU01 from Ulanzi, but doesn’t establish which particular camera cooler it fits or how long it runs. If you’re choosing power for a cooling setup, treat those as details to establish for your own equipment rather than assume from the name alone.

Specialist Note

A common oversight with a camera cooler is planning power for the camera and forgetting that the cooler needs its own battery option. The Ulanzi CU01 is made for that part of the setup, so I’d consider it when mapping out power for a recording day or a fixed video arrangement. Keep the cooler’s power in mind before you position the rig; that’s more practical than discovering an overlooked power need once filming is underway. It’s aimed at people using a camera cooler, rather than anyone looking for a general camera battery. One point I’d keep in view: the name alone doesn’t tell you which cooler it fits or its running time, so don’t assume either from “CU01.”
