SmallRig 4826 CB75 Camera Base Battery

SmallRig 4826 CB75 Camera Base Battery | A slim, high-capacity power base

SmallRig 4826 CB75 Camera Base Battery stores 73.8Wh in a body just 33mm thick, adding substantial power to a camera rig without a bulky battery block. It’s intended for filmmakers and camera operators building a rig around a camera or cage, especially when several pieces of production equipment need power from one mounted source. Use it as the power base for a camera setup, run compatible accessories from its range of outputs, or keep a USB-C device powered during a longer recording session. Its flat shape also works well where a large battery would make a rig awkward to position. The CB75 combines direct mounting points with a display for checking battery status, so the power unit is part of the rig rather than a separate pack to place nearby. With LG cells and built-in protection circuitry, it’s aimed at dependable production use. SmallRig also rates the USB-C charging input at up to 65W, with a full recharge taking around two hours. For a rig that needs capacity, multiple output options and a compact base in one unit, the CB75 brings those jobs together.

What it does

• Direct mounting: A 1/4"-20 screw on top attaches the battery to a camera or cage, while a matching threaded hole underneath allows tripod mounting. This avoids needing a separate mounting adapter for those connections.
• Arca-Swiss setup: Used with compatible cages and SmallRig’s Arca-Swiss quick-release plate, model 4486, the battery supports a one-click automatic locking setup. That’s useful when moving a rig between compatible mounting arrangements.
• Several power outputs: Two D-Tap ports, two USB-C ports and an 8V DC5521 output provide different connection options for compatible production equipment. The range is useful when a rig combines devices with different power inputs.
• High-power USB-C: Each USB-C port supports up to 65W input or output, and the two together can deliver up to 100W. You can also recharge the battery over USB-C; SmallRig gives a two-hour full-charge time.
• Onboard status display: The full-colour HD screen shows battery status in real time. It gives the operator a direct readout of available power while managing a multi-device setup.
• Protected battery cells: The CB75 uses LG battery cells with protection circuitry. This design is intended to provide stable power and added protection during battery operation.

Good to know

The battery charges between 0°C and 45°C, and its stated discharge temperature range is -15°C to 60°C. D-Tap can also be used as an input, rated up to 16.8V and 6A; the same ports provide output across 10.4–16.8V, up to 8A. Keep those limits in mind when planning a power setup.
