EIKON PLL Uhf Wireless Microphone System WM700 Mic 16 Freq Handheld Dual 512-56
EIKON PLL UHF Wireless Microphone System WM700 | Speak without a microphone cable
A microphone cable running across a speaking area can get in the way of presenters and people moving around. The EIKON PLL WM700 is a wireless microphone system with a handheld mic, for situations where you want the speaker to move without being tethered to the audio setup. It suits talks, announcements and small events where clear, straightforward speech is the priority. A handheld format is also practical when the microphone needs to be passed between speakers, though each person will need to hold it while talking. This is a specialist tool for voice use, rather than an all-purpose audio setup: its appeal is the freedom to speak and move without a cable in hand. If you’re arranging a presentation or hosting an event, it offers a simple way to keep the microphone with the speaker instead of routing a lead across the room.
Specialist Note
For a community-hall talk with several wireless setups in the room, I’d make frequency choice part of the sound check: the WM700 is described as having 16 frequencies, giving you options to coordinate before the audience arrives. Its UHF transmission is a useful detail to know when planning a wireless setup, but it can’t promise a clear signal in every venue. The handheld design suits a speaker who needs to address the room directly, or a host passing the mic to someone for a question. I’d keep the speaking area clear and agree who’s holding it before the session starts. It’s most at home with spoken-word use, not as a substitute for a broader sound system.
